THE latest Samsung Galaxy S8 rumours suggest an updated device is set to launch soon – just months after its initial worldwide release date. Here’s everything we know so far.
This stunning new device includes numerous features that firmly places it one step ahead of its rivals and is on course to be the best smartphone of 2017.
With a huge Infinity display which covers almost the entire front of the phone there’s nothing on the market that offers an experience as good as the S8.
Samsung has also boosted the performance of its latest flagship and has improved the cameras for better photography.
Express.co.uk recently reviewed the S8, calling it “the best smartphone Samsung has ever built.”
However, the S8 isn’t without it faults as it includes a fingerprint scanner which is almost impossible to use and the facial recognition needs a lot of improvements before it can become the ultimate way to unlock the device.
We also criticised the lack of colour options with users in the UK currently only to purchase the S8 in Orchid Gray and Midnight Black.
However, this looks like it’s about to change and it could annoy fans who decided to buy one on launch day.
A latest leaked image from China suggests that Samsung could launch the S8 in a new Rose Gold colour.
The picture appears to show a Galaxy S8 Plus in this new design but it’s likely that the standard S8 will also feature this updated scheme.
There’s currently no confirmation from Samsung if the leaks are true but the Korean company are well known for releasing new colours after the initial launch.
Until February the S7 Edge had only been available in black, white, pink, gold and silver.
This new Blue Coral style is still available to buy and comes with another added bonus – a new lower price.
Samsung has slashed the cost of its current flagships with the Galaxy S7 now costing £499 and the S7 Edge available for £569.
