Sting wasn’t referred to by the name ‘The Icon’ without good reason. This man could move a crowd not only by a promo but by a simple look. He was a face of fear. He stood up to evil groups. He wrestled in the major U.S wrestling companies. He showed people that you don’t have to be loud and brash to get over and be charismatic. He fought the whose who and won the hearts of wrestling fans everywhere. Sting retired this year but he will always remain an icon.

  1. I wish sting didnt go to WWE. I wish once he left TNA that's when he retired. I always hoped he would buy TNA and fix the ship but oh well. Now it's like his TNA career doesn't even exist, same with Kurt Angle. Both arguably the best in TNA history. I loved Main Event Mafia and the matches between the two. Both had great matches with Styles, Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode. Man i miss good TNA and WCW.

  2. At last cena looked to be just a fool a guy who has been the longest face of wwe had a ridiculous ending huh well honestly triple h era of authority has been one of the worst and disgusting phase and still continues

  3. I don't believe Sting is the GOAT, but without a doubt he's the most underrated wrestler ever. His mic skills. His athleticism. His storylines. He was a big motherfucking deal as a kid, and I feel he never gets mentioned in the convo. When he stepped in the ring or grabbed a microphone we all shut up and paid close attention.

  4. He reminds of Jim Carrey so much. But I mean, a version of Jim Carrey that could easily kick my ass and have a good time about it. I don't doubt that actual Jim Carrey could kick my ass, but he wouldn't enjoy it half as much, and it'd be a lot harder on his body.

  5. They completely wasted the hell out of him once Sting decided to join WWE. He is perhaps the 2nd biggest star in wrestling. I know a lot of people may not agree with me on that. It's just the way I see it. But anyways, they should have booked him better. They should have had him win against Triple H at WrestleMania 31, then get into a mini feud with Bray Wyatt for Summerslam, then win the WWE Championship at Survivor Series one year after he made his debut, & then go on to defend the title at WrestleMania 32 in the main event against The Undertaker.
