I know, I know, I said that this CSS tutorial was going to be about gradients. But I thought I’d run through opacity first of all, because it’s a really cool property that ties in with the rgb background property.

Opacity in CSS controls how transparent an element is, and ranges from 0 (completely transparent) to 1 (completely opaque).
