  1. All the respect in the world for Terry Funk, and his countless contributions to pro wrestling. However, all that for what? The beatings, the injuries, the damage he's done to his body, and to serve what purpose? I get it, but at the same time I don't.

  2. Hardcore wrestling isn't about giving 100%. It's about giving more than you even have to give. It's about going beyond what you think your limits are to entertain the fans.

  3. Hardcover wrestling was fun to watch at one time, but I have to agree with Flair, hardcover wrestling was for a bunch of guys who couldn't do much in-ring work and resorted to using whatever they could get their hands on. Barely knowing much about mat technicality. Though ECW did have real wrestlers at one time before Bischoff bought them all, rat bastard. Ric Flair stated in his book that Terry Funk was a gifted mat tech till he began doing too much hardcover nearly tarnishing his legacy. I'm 50/50 on that. Funk was a great NWA champion before ECW ever existed.

  4. The Co called NWA belt Shane Douglas threw down was not , I repeat , was not the same belt that passed through The Funk's , Race , Rhodes , Thez , Flair , Von Erich. The NWA of old was long gone by this time. This was a half ass resurrected replica of that hallowed belt. True story

  5. terry funk has to be the toughest son of a bitch that has ever lived. the amount of head trauma that guy has just even forgotten about is a lifetime more than what you or i have seen… yet… listen to how lucid he is. his shit is still firing on all cylinders. you could set a bomb off next to his head and he will be able to tell you, explicitly, how that felt after its done.

  6. The clapping thing with any chant or most of the chants has to do with the Philadelphia Flyers, watch a Flyers home game and you"ll see what I mean as someone who was born and raised and still lives in Philly I would know, the chant goes let's go flyers clap clap clap clap just like for example she's got herpes clap clap clap clap or at a Flyers game your an asshole clap clap clap clap etc etc
