Legends of Wrestling (PS2) – Wrestlers: Hulk Hogan vs. Ted DiBiase – Arena: Southwest

This professional wrestling video game is based on the greatest wrestlers of all time, from WWF/WWE, NWA, WCW, ECW and various independent promotions.

  1. The roster is probably the top aspect of this game. It brings to the table a list of legends spanning many different promotions. It also gives you a glimpse into what the WWE games would have looked like if they had stayed with Acclaim. The graphics are decent, the gameplay is simple and addictive and the create a wrestler is well done. It has some flaws in collision detection and the models are a bit blocky but overall a very good effort by Acclaim.

  2. I liked these little spin off games compared to the main SvR. Last one we had was Legends of Wrestlemania and WWE Allstars. Despite being badly reviewed, they were actually pretty fun to play. Easy achievements. Plus dropped down in price a lot with only a month of release. Perhaps we will see some more soon made by different game producers with the WWE2k as the main game type at the mo.

  3. 00:16 I'll never forget that damn intro! I always had the first half of that thing stuck in the back of my head. The way he sang "I, never thought, this could be me." I'll never forget that crazy sounding shit as long as I live & play videogames!
