The WWE has experienced a handful of eras that dominated the sport for a long time, and while some fans checked out after their favorite era came to an end, others have continued to watch. TYTSports WWE correspondent Josh Gibbs is back to break down the greatest WWE eras of all time! The Golden Age, The New Generation, Attitude Era, WCW/ECW Alliance were prominent for their respective time, but which one reigns king? Which era REALLY deserves the championship belt?

  1. In the ruthless aggression era stars like Eddie Guerrero, Benoit, Angle, Y2J, Edge, Mysterio, RVD, HHH, The Undertaker, Booker T, The Big Show and maybe HBK too, were at their peaks.
And people like Batista, Orton, Cena and Lesnar were starting to raise.
2002-2006 To me was the perfect fusion between good storylines and good matches.
There were a countless number of breathtaking matches that there weren't in the attitude era, cuz the attitude era wasn't about good matches … The attitude era was about other things, like cool storylines, cool characters, cool promos, a lot of violence in (and outside) the ring, but there were a lack of technical good matches.

I feel sorry both for kids nowadays that started watching wwe since 2008 or 2010 or whatever, and for people that stopped watching wwe after the attitude era, cuz they lost THE REAL GOLDEN AGE OF WWE.

Come on guys … I've read a guy saying that there were no memorable moments in this era … SERIOUSLY BRO?
    Just to name a few:
The return of HBK, Goldberg's debut, Eddie wwe champ, Benoit whc, Benoit winner of the 2004 RR, the birth of the elimination chamber, the birth of MITB …
Come on, u could turn on the tv anytime and u would have seen a great match:

Jericho vs HBK? Lesnar vs Rock? Lesnar vs Eddie? Lesnar vs Taker? Angle vs Lesnar? Angle vs Eddie? Eddie vs Rey? Angle vs HBK? HHH VS HBK? HHH VS FLAIR? RVD VS Kane?Edge vs Cena? Batista vs HHH? Benoit vs HHH, benoit vs hhh vs hbk, kane vs edge, Foley vs orton, Foley vs Edge, benoit vs angle, matt hardy vs edge, taker vs flair … AND I NAMED ONLY THE 5% OF GOOD MATCHES THAT WERE …
    THE BEST DAMN DAYS.

  2. I was born in 1998 and I started watching WWE in late 2006. I stop watching WWE when the Undertaker retired Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels was one my favorite wrestlers and he should've been the one to end the streak. I think the best time eras in WWE are from 1998 through 2008

  3. I stopped watching wrestling after John Cena and never stopped seeing Jericho as the 'new guy' for some reason. I did like a few people who were considered new back then. Tazz, 2 Cool, Dudley Boys, but I never thought Randy Orton was cool. Even his finisher is just a lame diamond cutter. Maybe I just 'grew up' and Attitude Era is one of those childhood things we all have.
